StarCity Entertainment working in partnership with MAN Commercial Protection Ltd, now have an exciting job opportunity for a Duty Assistant working within our centre’s security team. The candidate must hold a valid Door Supervisor and ideally have experience working in the security industry.
Star City Entertainment Centre in Birmingham is a diverse, busy, vibrant place of work that hosts an array of eateries, attractions and one of the largest cinemas in Europe that can all be enjoyed by the whole family.
The shift pattern will consist of 4 on 4 off 9 hour shifts on a rotating rota.
With the working hours:
9:00 – 18:00
15:00 – 00:00
17:00 – 02:00

MAN Commercial are a family run business currently in our 28th year trading. With our Head Office based in Solihull, West Midlands, we employ Security Officers throughout the whole of the UK and specialise in security guarding, door supervision, CCTV and keyholding services.
Role Responsibility:
- Reports to the Senior Duty Assistant and Duty Controller
- Work alongside the Duty Assistant Team
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests, tenants, and contractor
- Ability to contribute to the team
- Excellent communicator
- Positive attitude
- To write reports/logs & maintain compliance documentation
- Confident, well informed, dynamic decision making
- Computer literate
- Patrolling on site in our Guest Services vehicle
Essential Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor licence
- SIA CCTV licence – preferable not essential
- UK Driving licence
- Minimum of a 5-year checkable work history with previous security experience essential
